I have access to a full scale music library, a harp and several pianos to rent out, and a theory lab where students can hone in on classical musical education. I have taught music lessons to beginner students for four years since I was 12 years old. So after a month or so of this I took her on as my first harp protege and with the skills I’ve learned from teaching her and from previously teaching five beginner piano students, I’m excited to open up my home studio to any other little girls who are enthusiastic about playing the harp! Every time she hears me practice she comes running to sit on the bottom stand of the harp to watch me play….
Now thirteen years later and my little three year old sister has the same fascination that I had.

Lynne Aspnes and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music and a Master of Music degree in Harp Performance. When I was a little girl I was enthralled with the harp and the idea of becoming a harpist! At only 3 years old when other girls were restlessly running around and playing house with their dolls I would sit at the harp bench for an hour, learning about the names of the strings and how to play them.
